Grade B

• Often used for warehousing or shipping
  
• 6 to 7 boards on top, depending on board width which can be 3-1/2″ to 5-1/2″ wide
  
• At least 4 boards on bottom
  
• Average top deck spacing 2-1/2″ to 3-1/2″ but can be up to 4″
  
• 3 stringers
  
• 4 way entry
  
• Flush
  
• Plugs/repairs on stringers
  
• Plugs can vary by lengths and locations
  
• No more than two boards thick at any one point
  
• Chips or partial split boards are common and may have multiple blemishes and color degradation
  

Premium Grade A

• Used in retail environments where they often become part of display
  
• 7 boards on top / 5 boards on bottom
  
• 6" lead boards throughout
  
• Average top deck space 2.5" - 3.5"
  
• 3 stringers, No block or metal repairs to stringers
  
• 4 way entry
  
• Flush
  
• Predominantly clean of paint or markings, some black out markings on sides

• May have minor cracks/chips in wood
